Laboratory testing is an important diagnostic tool in veterinary medicine. At Kirby Veterinary Hospital our goal is to provide your pet the highest quality medicine and we are pleased to offer in-hospital diagnostic laboratory services as part of that care. There are some diagnostic laboratory tests that need to be sent out to an outside reference laboratory. We have two primary reference laboratories that we are able to submit samples to; and are even able to obtain same-day test results for many of our cases.
