October 2021-  Kirby Vet Hospital – Operations Update- COVID-19

 

Appointments: When you arrive for your appointment please call us at (860) 450-0505. The Client Service Representative will get you checked in and explain our protocol (see how this works below)!

 

1️⃣ We are currently allowing *ONE* client in for the appointment (exceptions for end of life visits)

 

You *MUST* wear a mask inside the building (town of Mansfield MANDATE 8/14/21)

 

⚠️ Our exam rooms are small- we will ask that you step away from the exam table/your pet while the Dr and staff are examining and treating your pet.

 

🛑 When your appointment is finished, we will ask you to remain in the room with your pet while we gather any medications and finalize the chart. We will let you know when to head up to the front desk.

 

We are happy to continue full curbside appointments and medication pick up if you need it—Please just mention it to the Client Service Representative when you call in.

 

Medications: We will call you when your medication refill is ready. Please call us when you arrive to pick up your medications- The Client Service Representative will advise you to either come inside to reception. *Please let us know if you prefer us to come out to you!

 

**We also have options for online ordering to have medications, including prescription food delivered directly to your house

 

PLEASE plan ahead (BEFORE) you run out of medications— Prescription refills and online approvals may take longer than usual

 

Please know that we are striving to maintain communication with you and we very much appreciate your patience and understanding as we navigate these changing times.

We appreciate everyone’s patience with our longer-than-usual on-hold time with the phones and scheduling delays.
